  • We also accept and make use of your generous in-kind donations, such as toys, clothing, blankets, school supplies, baby items, etc. Suggested examples are listed below.

  • Most importantly, all items MUST BE NEW.

**City hall is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. This is a drop-off location only.  Staff will not be able to answer any questions or provide assistance**

Toy Donations

  • Toys should be new and unwrapped.

Clothing for Toddlers to Teens

  • New clothes for school can really make a child feel good about themselves. Here are some suggestions: shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, dresses, socks, shoes, etc. Being the winter months, warm clothing would be greatly appreciated, i.e. sweat shirts, hoodies, jackets, sweaters, etc.

  • Don't worry about what size to get, we will find someone who will fit what you give.

Baby Items

  • The basics are really needed: new blankets, sleepers, clothes, diapers, bottles, wipes, baby power, baby lotion, shampoo, baby soap, etc.

School Supplies

  • New pencils, note books, paper, pens, colored pencils, crayons, pencil boxes, back packs, book bags, etc.

Blankets

  • We are amazed by the number of families we have visited in the past who have had no form of heating in their home. Just think about how much comfort and warmth can be given with something as simple as a new blanket.

Holiday Decorations

  • Every child deserves to have a little holiday sparkle in their home.  Any kind of holiday decorations are appreciated.

  • At our Adopt a Family headquarters, we can always use wrapping paper and tape for wrapping the gifts. We use upwards of 200 rolls of tape and even more rolls of wrapping paper each year.
